Id Cabasa first became popular after he produced Lord of Ajasa’s debut single, ‘Otiya’ which also features 2Phat. Not long after, Ajasa became a household name. 9ice, Olamide and Reminisce, today some of the biggest acts in Nigeria, also launched their professional careers under Cabasa’s tutelage and skills. He produced Ruggedman’s 2006 smash hit, ‘Ruggedy Baba’ which features 9ice, Banky W’s ‘ Mr Capable album and 9ice’s unforgettable hit song, ‘Gongo aso’, Id cabasa has also worked with the likes of Faze, Plantashun Boiz, 2shotz, Durella and many others.
